Blowerproof Spray/Roll-on Liquid Airtight Membrane


Blowerproof is the only NSAI Agrément Certified airtight liquid that is tested & Approved to Irish Building Regulations.

Liquid airtight coating is spray applied with an airless paint spray machine.

This product is mainly recommended on large projects.

Application of Spray-On

  • Blowerproof Liquid Spray is ready-to-use; mix with hand mixer before application. Do not dilute with water or solvents.
  • Apply with an airless paint spray device.
  • Cleaning airless device: with water.
  • Apply BLOWERPROOF LIQUID SPRAY in two layers, at a total consumption of 0.5 - 1 kg/m².
  • Complete drying is requested prior to applying another product on Blowerproof Liquid Spray (such as plaster). Drying time may vary and depends on local conditions and condition of the substrate. Indicative: 24 - 48 hours.

Spray or Roll applied to floor and wall junctions where high level of airtightness is required.

Ceiling Wall Junctions

Spray applied to this junction when airtightness is hard to treat with tapes

Full Walls

Airtight and vapour control is achieved more efficiently than sand and cement. Reduce wet trades, and drying times.

Radon

Radon is a radioactive gas.

Radon lung cancer related deaths are estimated to be 350 in Ireland every year.

Blowerproof Liquid is the only NSAI liquid tested and certified as a radon membrane, but must be installed by Rascor Ireland.

External

When Blowerproof is applied on the external of a building, insulation materials such as Rockwool, or external insulation , may be fitted directly.

This system is used on large commercial projects, and removes the need for airtightness inside the building.
